Liturgical Ministries
What is this Ministry?
The liturgical ministries are the volunteers assisting with the Mass. While the priest is the presider and main guide for the movement of the liturgy, it is a community effort to complete the Mass.
When does it happen?
Every Sunday for the Morning and Evening Mass

LECTORS
LECTORS:
Lectors proclaim the readings of scripture during the celebration of the Mass, and read the general intercessions.
We need 2 lectors for every Mass.

EMoHC
(Eucharistic Ministers):
They join with the presiding priest to help distribute the body and blood of Christ to the assembly.
We need 1 EMoHC for every Mass.

Altar Server:
An altar server supports the tasks at the altar. Parishioners who have received their first Holy Communion can volunteer for this ministry.
We need 3 Altar Servers for every Mass.

Ushers:
Ushers greet the parishioners, hand out the weekly bulletin, and guide parishioners to their seats. They also help with the collection baskets.
We need 2 Ushers for every Mass.

Choir:
Cantor serves as the song leader during the celebration of the Eucharist, and, most importantly, proclaim the Psalm during Mass.
We need 1 Cantor and 8 Choir members for every Mass.

Counters:
The counters are responsible for counting the tithing after Mass.
We need 2 counters for every Mass.

Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW):
This volunteer teaches the children of our parish the Word of God during the beginning of Mass.
We need 1 volunteer for the morning Mass.

Holy Rosary:
This volunteer leads the Holy Rosary with the microphone 30min prior to the Masses.
We need 1 volunteer for every Mass.
